Carronvale House Conference & Training Centre

The Boys’ Brigade operates centres around the UK including Carronvale House in Scotland and Felden Lodge in England. The centres are used extensively throughout the year for BB training and events as well as by external groups. The grade A listed mansion house is ideally situated in the central belt of Scotland with good motorway and rail links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.

Our History

The Boys' Brigade

The Boys' Brigade was founded in Glasgow on 4th October 1883 by Sir William Alexander Smith. From this one Company formed in Scotland the BB has grown in to a worldwide movement having worked with millions of children and young people for well over a century. Today The boys' Brigade are working with over 60,000 children & young people in over 1500 companies (groups) in the UK & Republic of Ireland every week.
